微软公司对Windows Vista Service Pack 1的发布日期守口如瓶,而大嘴的Intel Corporation CEO Paul Otellini 却不会注意微软的难言之隐,他在被问到Vista是否增加了他们07年的销售业绩时直接把Vista SP1的发布时间捅了出来,"Most companies will act like Intel. They're doing some pilots and testing today. But the [Vista] deployment [in enterprises] will actually happen when the Service Pack gets released in the fourth quarter time frame, probably the October-November time frame."这也就意味着SP1将极有可能在今年10-11月之间发布.尽管Otellini泄露了天机,但微软仍然保持死不承认的态度,他们认为"现在公布SP1的发布时间还为期尚早,目前SP1正处于TAP [Technology Adoption Program]阶段,还有很多需要改进的地方."微软的女发言人最终还是拒绝证实Otellini的说法.
