一位很着迷移动博客（moblog）的朋友，尝试着在他花600美金购得的Nokia 6233上配置email，收发email。折腾了一个早上，他发现，这个配置一共需要。。78步！这位朋友很详细的记录下这让人疯狂的78步，如下：
1. Press the Menu key.按下菜单的按键.
2. Scroll to Settings and press Select .滚动到设置和按下选择.
3. Scroll up to Configuration and press Select .向上滚动配置和按下选择.
4. Scroll up to Personal Configuration Settings and press Select .向上滚动个人配置设置和按下选择.
5. Press Options .按下选项.
6. Scroll to Add New and press Select .滚动到新增和按下选择.
7. Scroll to E-Mail and press Select .滚动到电子邮件和按下选择.
8. Account name will be highlighted, press Select .帐户名称将突出,按下选择.
9. Enter Vodafone Mail and press OK .进入Vodafone邮件和按下OK.
10. Scroll to My Name and press Select .滚动到我的名字和按下选择.
11. Enter your name (i.e. John ) and press OK .进入你的名字(即约翰),按下OK.
12. Scroll to E-mail Address and press Select .滚动到电子邮件地址和按下选择.

39. Scroll to Authentication Type and press Select .滚动到授权类型和按下选择.
40. Scroll to Normal and press Select .滚动到正常和按下选择.
41. Scroll to Username and press Select .滚动到用户名和按下选择.
42. Enter web and press OK .进入网站和按下OK.
43. Scroll to Password and press Select .滚动到密码和按下选择.
44. Enter web and press OK , to verify password re-enter web again and press the select key under OK .进入网站和按下OK吧,核实密码重新进入网站再press 选择重点下好.
45. press the Right Select key under Back twice.按下右选择键下回来了两次.
46. Scroll to Incoming Server Type and press Select .滚动来袭服务器类型和按下选择.
47. Scroll to POP3 or IMAP4 (depending on email account type use IMAP4 for Vodafone Mail) and press Ok .滚动pop3或imap4(视乎电子邮件帐户类型的imap4使用沃达丰mail)和按下OK.
48. Scroll to Incoming Mail Settings and press Select .滚动寄来的邮件设置和按下选择.
49. Retrieve E-mails will be displayed, make no changes.取回的电子邮件将显示,没有变化.
50. Scroll to POP3 secure Login/IMAP secure Login and set to enabled/disabled as required by you ISP.滚动的pop3安全登录/IMAP，安全登录和设置,使用/不使用isp. If required by your ISP you will now need to enter your Username again at POP3 user name/IMAP user name SMTP and Password again at POP3 password/IMAP password.如果需要你的供应商,你现在要再次输入你的用户名，在pop3用户名/imap用户名称smtp和密码,再在密码的pop3铃声/密 码.
51. Scroll to POP3 User name/IMAP4 User name and press Select .滚动到pop3用户名/imap4用户名和按下选择.
52. Enter the Account Username (i.e. john.smith ) and press Ok .进入用户帐户(即john.smith)按下OK.
53. Scroll to POP3 Password/IMAP4 User name and press Select .滚动到pop3协议password/imap4用户名和按下选择.
54. Enter the Email password set by the user and press Ok .进入电子邮件设定密码由用户和按下OK. Then Verify the Email password and press Ok .然后核实电子邮件密码和按下OK.
Note: The password and username can be case sensitive.注意:密码和用户名可以区分大小写.
55. Scroll to Incoming POP3 Server/Incoming IMAP4 Server and press Select .滚动到引入pop3服务器/引入imap4邮件服务器和按下选择.
56. Enter the incoming mail server provided by your email provider for Vodafone Mail enter imap.进入邮件服务器提供你的邮件提供商vodafone邮件进入imap. vodafone .net and press Ok . vodafone.net和按下OK.
57. Scroll to Incoming POP3 port/Incoming IMAP4 Port and enter:滚动到引入的pop3端口/引入imap4等端口进入:
For POP3: 110 pop3邮件:110
For IMAP4: 143 为支持imap4:143
58. Scroll to Use Preferred access point and press Select .滚动使用首选接入点和按下选择.
59. Scroll to No and press Select .滚动到没有和按下选择.
60. Scroll to POP3/IMAP4 Access Point and press Select .滚动海量接入点和按下选择.
61. Proxy will be displayed, press Select .代表人将展示,按下选择.

68. Scroll to Network Type and press Select .滚动到网络类型和按下选择.
69. Scroll to IPv4 and press Select .滚动到ipv4和按下选择.
70. Scroll to Authentication Type and press Select .滚动到授权类型和按下选择.
71. Scroll to Normal and press Select .滚动到正常和按下选择.
72. Scroll to Username and press Select .滚动到用户名和按下选择.
73. Enter web and press OK .进入网站和按下OK.
74. Scroll to Password and press Select .滚动到密码和按下选择.
75. Enter web and press OK , re-enter web and press OK .进入网站和按下OK,重新进入网站和按下OK.
76. press the Right Select key under Back three times.按下返回键下边的右选择键三次.
77. Scroll to the new email settings and press Options .滚动到新的电子邮件设置和按下选择.
78. Scroll to Activate and press Select .滚动到激活和按下选择.

续：有热心朋友来信说，并不是所有手机配置email都需要这么多步骤，比如我的索爱，“只”需要36步。
Now according to Vodafone, who kindly emailed these instructions, not all handsets are the same. My Sony Ericsson for instance ‘only’ needs 36 steps.
