Kantaris is an all new media player based on code from Videolan client (VLC) and Bass audio library. Kantaris has a graphical user interface similar to that of Windows Media Player.

September 17 2007 Kantaris Media Player 0.2.1 released.Finally a new release of Kantaris. This version fixes a few bugs that have been reported but mainly it adds new features that lets the user listen to last.fm radio and watch the latest movie trailers.
