InfoWorld的Woody Leonhard写到：总共有6个补丁被重新发布，除了鼓励升级到Windows 10之外，还有此前用于收集Windows 7数据的公告。
大多数Windows 7更新都被打上了“重要”的标记，且Windows Update中会“建议”用户更新，只是用户不见得知道自己都更新了些什么。
