三星计划于2016年3月召开的全球移动大会（MWC）上公布搭载Android 6.0 Marshmallow系统的Galaxy S7旗舰，但与此同时三星也没有忘记当代和前代智能手机，据悉三星正为多数高端机型研发和测试Marshmallow更新。援引外媒SamsungViet透露的更新路线图，包括Galaxy S6系列和Galaxy Note系列都有望在明年第1季度获得升级。

根据曝光的路线图，共计有12款三星智能手机将会在2016年第1季度获得Android 6.0更新，其中包括 Galaxy Note 5, the Galaxy Note 4, the Galaxy Note 4 Duos, the Galaxy Note Edge, the Galaxy S6 edge+, the Galaxy S6 edge, the Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S6 Duos, the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy S5 Neo和Galaxy S5 LTE-A。此外根据路线图，三星Galaxy Alpha, the Galaxy Tab A, the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0和Galaxy Tab S2 9.7将会在明年第2季度获得Marshmallow更新。
