联想北京时间8日下午5点多,联想美国网站被消费者发现可以以最低224美元的价格订购ThinkPad高端笔记本T61,之后相当数量的中国消费者利用国际信用卡及美国朋友的地址订购了电脑.此事在多个美国论坛及国内社区掀起热议.大约晚上9点左右,联想美国网站已经将错误更正,随后并将已经选购但还未信用卡付款的用户订单清空.之后的几个小时内,数百网友在论坛讨论、等待联想的处理结果.

仅379美元的T61配置订单
北京时间9日凌晨0:40左右,联想陆续向已经订购的用户发送电子邮件通知此次产生的订单做取消处理.

联想的电子邮件大概意思如下,“由于在我们网站发生了一个意料之外的错误,你的T61订单将被取消.请访问我们的网站重新订购或者联系我们的销售代表.”

联想未在邮件中解释“预料之外的错误”的具体情况.
