微软最新发布的轻薄新主机Xbox One S正热销，拥有比前代缩小40%的主机体积，内置电源，4K视频输出和HDR支持等。另外据报道新主机还支持4K缩放游戏，而非原生4K游戏。不过很多用 户发现Xbox One S似乎并不支持4K直通(Pass-Through)，也就是主机无法直接将连接设备（HDMI-in）上的4K内容以原生4K分辨率的形式推至4K电视上，如Amazon Fire TV电视棒等，微软近日确认了这一点。

对此微软今日正式向外媒winBeta确认，Xbox One S目前暂不支持4K直通(Pass-Through)功能，考虑将在4K推流更普及的未来，提供支持。

Xbox One S does not currently support 4K pass-through via HDMI-in. We will continue to explore making the changes needed for the hardware to support pass-through as 4K broadcasts become more widespread.
