四川地震情况诺基亚内部沟通信息 2008年5月16日
由于灾情地不断加重远远超过人们早期的预计，公司昨天决定将诺基亚此次灾区捐款的总额增至1000万元人民币。 地震发生以后，诺基亚立即启动了危机管理机制并积极展开灾难救援工作。
我们认真分析了救灾工作的不同环节，并迅速做出了反应：
-震后的当务之急是救人，最急需的就是恢复联络。诺基亚是第一个同中国移动联系的厂家，我们联合NSN, 派网络工程师到现场抢修，并捐助了手机。昨天, 我们又同四川联通携手捐手机、Sim卡共500套。至此，诺基亚与移动运营商联合捐助的手机及Sim卡， 总数已经达到5000套，并已全部送到救助人员手中。
-昨天，诺基亚员工俱乐部联合心手相牵组织，全面启动了诺基亚大中国区员工自愿捐款活动。仅5月15日一天，诺基亚北京，东莞，以及部分办公室的员工捐款总额已经超过27万元人民币，同时，诺基亚决定在此基础上等额捐款。
-14日深夜，河南诺基亚客户服务派出了三支移动小分队，配备了价值百万的通讯器材连夜赶赴四川灾区。15日抵达都江堰、广元和德阳并立即开展了援助服务。服务车上还携带有食物，水等必需的救助物资。
-昨天，公司派员工代表前往了绵阳、绵竹、德阳、雅安及眉山灾区看望了受灾员工与客户，并带去了水、食物和药品。目前亟需帐篷，公司正在紧急组织外地输送。
-我们一直在通过各种渠道，包括新闻媒体，业务渠道以及同当地员工地沟通，严密监视灾情的进展，并随时准备做出进一步地援助。

16th May, 2008 Update
Since the earthquake in Sichuan on Monday, it has become clear that the scope and scale of this catastrophe is indeed far worse than was considered initially. On the basis of this new information, Nokia has decided to increase its total donation to RMB 10 million.
Soon after the devastating earthquake struck Wenchuan county, Nokia activated a crisis management system which aims to address the different aspects of this catastrophe. Nokia has carefully assessed the situation, and our analysis follows:
- We have worked with Sichuan Unicom to donate another 500 phones with Sim Cards pre-installed. Thus far Nokia, together with China Mobile operators, has donated a total of 5,000 mobile phones and Sim Cards which have been delivered to those most in need. Since restore communications across the stricken area is crucial to save lives, Nokia quickly worked alongside China Mobile earlier, deploying engineers from Nokia Siemens Networks to the affected areas to repair the network and help donate mobile devices.
-The Nokia Staff Club and the Nokia Helping Hands organization have jointly organized activities to raise donations from employees at our office across China. On May 15th alone, we raised a total donation of over RMB 270,000 from our colleagues across China. Nokia has agreed to match Nokia China employee’s donations – effectively doubling what we are able to give.
-On the night of the 14th, our Henan Nokia Care deployed three teams, equipped with over million RMB worth of communication equipment, food, water and other crucial supplies to the affected areas of Sichuan. The teams arrived in Dujingyan, Guangyuan and Deyang on May 15th and immediately devoted to the rescue work.
-Yesterday, Nokia employee representatives brought food, water and medicine to the most affected areas of Mianyang, Jinzhu, Deyang, Ya’an and Meishan. The most needed supplies right now are tents, and the company is arranging urgent assistance from other provinces.
-We continue to closely monitor the situation through the media, our business channels, and our local staff so that we can provide further support as needed.
