Mozilla Firefox 51.0 正式版今日发布，提供在浏览器中直接播放FLAC格式音频文档以及对WebGL 2规范的支持，在填写表单时无需提交即可保存密码到密码管理器中，与Chrome 56一样，在非HTTPS连接的页面中出现密码框就会提示不安全，除此之外51版还有一些性能上的改进，降低了CPU占用，全屏时的体验也更加平滑。
