相比较此前通讯录的搜索方式，Google计划在聊天应用Allo中允许用户通过Gmail账号来搜索联系人。在对最新版Allo的APK文件进行反向编译之后，外媒9to5Google表现了以下几个占位符，暗示Google正在筹备新功能。

除了搜索联系人功能之外，在对新版本的拆解之后发现为群聊提供了全新管理员控制，此外还有联系人共享、相机闪光灯控制、全新长按菜单和新相机特效等等。
