本月补丁星期二活动日上，微软在为尚处于支持状态的Windows 10系统发布累积更新外，还为Windows 7/8.1系统发布了月度更新汇总。其中Windows 7 Service Pack 1和Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack获得KB4462923以及仅安全更新KB4462915。两款更新的日志内容相同。

根据官方更新日志，这些补丁中包含针对Windows Media Player, Windows Graphics, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows Kernel和Microsoft JET Database Engine的安全更新。

Windows 8.1和Windows Server 2012 R2获得KB4462926和仅安全更新KB4462941，更新日志也是相同。内容和上述基本上相同，为Windows Media Player, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows Kernel和Microsoft JET Database Engine的安全更新。

本轮更新只有1个已知问题，微软称在某些情况下网络接口控制器会停止工作。换言之你可能会失去网络连接。微软称这是由于缺失oem.inf文件所导致的。
