Windows Compute Cluster Server Beta 2 即将于两周后发布
通过我这一个多月对Windows Compute Cluster Edition的测试使用,感觉给予廉价的PC服务器的技术已经可以方便到“被小P孩”轻易部署的阶段了.
很想看到Vista Compute Cluster Edition的样子?(不知道微软有没有开发)

最近用上了Visual Studio 2005 TeamSuite和SQL Server 2005的正式版,
感觉编程的乐趣可以让更多的人体会到了.

Thank you for participating in the Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003 beta at Microsoft Connect. We will be posting beta 2 on our site in the next 2 weeks and look forward to your feedback and participation in our newsgroup.

In the meantime we will like to have your feedback on installing the first beta.The next time you log on to the Microsoft Connect site you will see a survey called beta 1 Installation Survey. Please take the time to complete this survey since it will help us improve future releases of Compute Cluster Server.
The survey is available on the Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003 Beta Home page on Microsoft Connect.

The upcoming beta will have several improvements in setup, administration, and in our job scheduler. We have a new feature called Remote Command Execution that allows you to run commands on compute nodes using the same security model as the job scheduler. Imagine selecting 50 nodes in your cluster, right clicking and choosing Remote Command Execution, and then running a command across all of the
machines. Standard out is redirected to the management console. It's a great feature.

There is a bunch of other improvements in the 2nd beta, including the beginning of performance optimizations in our MPI stack, API improvements in our SDK, and more. We will also have more detailed documentation and white papers describing Compute Cluster Server.
