FireFox小组之前在Mozilla wiki上说Firefox 2最迟将在今年第三季度发布,而Firefox 3最迟将在明年第一季度发布(Ship Firefox 2 no later than Q3 2006 and Firefox 3 no later than Q1 2007),今天从Mozilla wiki上得知下周五24日发布FireFox 2.0a1(Release to Follow next Friday for Alpha1),并且FireFox 2不提供1.5到2.0的升级版(There will be no 1.5->2.0 updates for this release)。
