因Nvidia瑕疵芯片导致惠普38款台式机出现故障，惠普已表示将为用户免费进行维修。
据悉，惠普将为存在故障的计算机提供免费维修，且合同担保期为12个月，即至2009年12月31日截止。惠普在其支持网站上表示，这一问题“源于计算机主板”，故障机器要么不能正常启动，要么无法显示。此次存在主板瑕疵的38款Pavilion Slimline机型分别为：
