据国外媒体的消息，Google已经阻止在古巴、苏丹、叙利亚、北韩、伊朗等国家使用Chrome浏览器，身在这几个国家的网民已经不能访问Google Chrome的官方网站，会被提示“The requested URL /service/prod_unavailable.html was not found on this server”。那么到底是这几个国家抛弃了Google，还是Google抛弃了这几个国家呢？来自叙利亚的一名用户在某博客留言到，他专门针对这件事情咨询了Google，被告知原因为“In accordance with US export controls and economic sanctions regulations, we are unable to permit the download of Chrome in Syria.”
